Twas a magical night in the kingdom of Graduate Meghann.

Derek and I were supposed to be Cinderella and Prince Charming, but everyone thought we looked more like Prom King and Queen. Either way I felt like a fairy tale princess in my poofy dress and crown and thats all that mattered.
The original plan was to have a light dinner before heading out to Megan’s for the Halloween party, but for some reason burgers sounded good.

I added chopped onions, minced garlic, ground flax seed, red pepper flakes, jalapenos, and soy sauce to a pound of lean ground beef then formed three patties.
The three patties went on the george foreman until they were medium well. I served myself 1/2 of a burger in a pita with spinach, tomato, & honey mustard sauce.

Per Derek’s request we had Okra Fries on the side.

As well as left over Oven Potato Fries from Thursday night.

It was a really tasty meal. I don’t eat burgers very often, but I do enjoy them when I do.
After dinner my Prince Charming and I headed to our ball i.e. Megan’s Super Spectacular Halloween Party!

Caitlin, Kelly, Me, Megan, and Brielle.
Megan was a bit nervous throwing her first Halloween party, but I would deem it a big success!
How could you go wrong with…
Beer Pong

Good Beer

Treats

Candy

Good Friends

Great Costumes

Jason was so soft! He was soft like a big Teddy Bear.

I think Anthony won for best costume of the night…

A Food Blogger!!

Kelly should be proud!

Around 1:00 am I was in danger of turning into a pumpkin, so we called it a night.
Thanks again Megan and Jason for throwing a great party!
The extra hour of sleep was a welcomed addition this morning. Derek and I took our time getting up this morning before taking off on a leisurely run this morning.
Before we left I was a little hungry so I nibbled on a Glo Bar on the way out the door.

We were suppose to go 2.5 miles, but I got lost in a foreign neighborhood and ended up tacking on an extra mile. Oh well.
Luckily we did eventually end up back at the car and after a quick changed headed in to Shakers for breakfast.

I decided on the Greek Omelet for my order.

The omelet was filled with tomatoes, spinach and feta cheese. I requested egg whites instead of whole eggs.

On the side I had fruit

And a biscuit with strawberry jam.

Yum!
Today is all about shopping. I NEED to find a cute outfit to wear while in San Francisco next weekend. I also am in desperate need of a new jacket, apparently I own no cute or practical ones for walking around a city.
Have a great Sunday!

Good luck with the shopping! I hear Old Navy is having some good sales
I wish I could go shopping today instead of doing work!!
It looks like you all had such a fun night!! Sadly I got sick last night BEFORE going out, so I had to stay in and hear all of the wild chaos going on outside while I stayed in bed with my trusty upchuck bucket next to me.
It is okay though, I am sure this city had enough Paris Hiltons roaming the streets last night, lol. I think it is so cute that now that you and Derek have run a race together, you two can go on morning runs together like its not biggie!! YAY!
It looks like it was a fun night
Have fun shopping!
You guys look so cute! Love the costume idea, I was a Bee while my hubby was batman.
I want to know how many cotton balls it took to make that sheep and also if they kept them to remove nail polish for the next 40 years.

cinderella ain’t got nothing on you girl — and PLEASE tell me Derek is wearing a burger king crown? that totally completes the look.
You know it. BK crown all night long! =)
Loks like a great night. Try Burlington coat factory or TJMaxx for cute, affordable jackets. At least that’s where some good ones were when I lived in the states 4 years ago – maybe things have changed.:)
The food blogger costume was hilarious!
