It has been a very eventful afternoon around here.
Poor Maddie isn’t feeling very well. I think a vet visit is in order for tomorrow morning.
Every 20 or 30 minutes she needs to relieve herself. Sometimes she manages to make it outside and other times I’ve been utilizing my Nature’s Miracle carpet cleaner. It’s my fault when she does have an accident inside. She has been giving me every signal necessary to let me know she needs to go, I just need to remember she doesn’t understand what wait 5 minutes means yet.
Poor girl!

A couple of Maddie’s accidents occurred while I was cooking dinner. She would do her potty dance and as I was prepping to go outside, she just couldn’t hold it any longer.

Despite the drama dinner came out really great. Luckily this stir fry was relatively easy to put together.

In a wok I heated up broccoli, carrot, onion, garlic, tomato, red pepper flakes, ginger and some pineapple juice. When the vegetables were tender I added half a dozen shrimp, pre-cooked whole wheat spaghetti noodles and coated it all with a bottled peanut sauce.

I garnished my peanut noodles with a handful of peanuts. The peanuts added a nice crunch to the otherwise chewy dish. Overall it was delicious, healthy, and filling.
Dessert was another pure genius idea of mine.

Warm Pineapple Ring Topped with Tart Honey Frozen Yogurt and Granola
I am never ashamed of my own brilliance when it comes to dessert. This was great!
This afternoon I had a Chocolate Hazelnut Jocolat Bar.

I’m going to watch Maddie through the night and see how she does. If she keeps needing to relieve herself this often I plan to bring her to the vet first thing in the morning. *fingers crossed everything is ok*
P.S.
Rumor has it the temps are suppose to start dropping tomorrow in Central Florida. Yippee!!!
