Infusion Tea: A Must Try

by Meghann on September 24, 2009

Today I discovered my new favorite place for lunch in Orlando.. Infusion Tea.

My Supervisor and I had an off site meeting at 1:00 this afternoon, so we decided to grab a quick bite to eat before hand at a restaurant I’ve been dying to try.

Infusion Tea is a cute little Organic Tea Cafe located in College Park. They offer a complete vegetarian menu with plenty of vegan options. They also offer a wide variety of gorgeous in house cupcakes and baked goods.

They even have vegan sweets!

However, the best part is the wall of tea.

It was a bit overwelming, but I loved it. You can have any of their speciality teas served hot or iced.

With my meal I had an Iced Passion Fruit Green Tea.

IMG_2412.JPG

It was very fruity and refreshing. I can’t wait to go back and try more! I think this place may replace my Starbucks habit. ๐Ÿ˜‰

All of the meals I saw being delivered look amazing, I knew anything I ordered would not be disappoint. After some mental debated I went with the Vegan Tamales: Delicious homemade veggie tamales ready to unwrap an enjoy steaming hot. Served with a heaping portion of savory beans and rice.

Yum!! Check out that great filling.

This dish was very fresh and not greasy at all. I would happily recommend it and order it again.

My supervisor ordered a Raspberry Salad that she could not stop raving about as well as a Greek Pizza.

IMG_2416.JPG

We ended up splitting the pizza and I had two to die for pieces.

IMG_2417.JPG

There was a goat cheese pizza on the menu that I would love to try next time. I loved the thin crunchy crust and again there was no grease at all. This was perfect.

My supervisor and I were debating grabbing one of the mouth watering cupcakes for dessert, but decided we were too full. I guess its a treat to look forward to next time.

In the end I give Infusion Tea two very big thumbs up! If you are in Orlando I highly suggest checking it out. I also highly suggest you invite me along because I would love to go back ASAP! ๐Ÿ˜‰

I did snack on some Dried Pineapple this morning while clacking away at my desk.

After our offsite meeting my boss gave me the option to go ahead and finish the work day at home. I <3 her! I have a few e-mails to take care of and then it’s the couch for me. Love it!

I love to try new teas! I’m not big on vegetarian lunches though…I just don’t like beans enough! Glad you enjoyed it – what a fun treat ๐Ÿ™‚

I wish that we had a place like that around here!! I love flavored tea, but I’m not a big fan of any of the options at Starbucks so I always end up getting coffee. I’m glad you enjoyed your lunch!

Yay I’m lying around on the couch as well, I guess you could say I’m having a half day since it only took the morning to travel home from a work conference.

I was just here last night with a friend listening to Stranger Than Fiction play live.
I loved the atmosphere and everything.
My friend had some chai tea. She loved it.
