Good Morning Everyone!
I hope everyone is starting their week off on a good note. For me its so far been so good.
I woke up and did a 42 minute strength training work out thanks to my ExerciseTV on demand. I think it was part of the Body by Jake Series. It was a great circuit training session where you do a move for 45 seconds, rest for 15 and then move on to the next. The constant change kept things at a fast pace and interesting.
The best part of the morning was getting dressed in one of my new outfits from yesterday’s shopping adventures. I LOVE starting the week in a new outfit. Something about wearing something new, just makes the day feel that much better.
And of course I had to celebrate my newly annointed weekly holiday of Cereal Monday.
- 1/2 cup GraduateMeghann’s Mix
- 1/2 cup Peanut Butter Puffins
- 1/2 cup Heartland Raisin Granola
- 1/2 Peach
- Raspberries
- Plain Oikos
I was so happy to finally see raspberries on sale at Publix this week. They still weren’t cheap (2/$5) but it’s better then the price I have been seeing. Raspberries are one of my fave berries and its a shamed they haven’t been fairly priced this summer.
Have a great Monday everyone. See ya at lunch.

Oh my gosh, we cannot get raspberries up here in the mountains of NC – you are lucky!
nice looking bowl of cereal!
I love starting off Mondays with new outfits!
Love the cereal!
Don’t miss the Sweet Potato Scone giveaway over on my blog!! YUM!
My morning run sucked! Haha. Not a good way to start the week.
Love raspberries on cereal!
Anytime I buy new clothes I spread out the pieces over a few weeks so I have something to look forward to each week!
Wearing a new outfit makes my day 10x better as well – have a good Monday
I completely agree that wearing a new outfit and looking good makes me feel fantastic, especially on a Monday! Rock it out Meghann!
YAYY!!! Cereal Monday is a great idea. Now I can finally start making a dent in the tons of cereal boxes I have. I am going to try and stick with this, and that shouldn’t be a problem because cereal is amazing!!!
Wow, $2.50 is cheap for raspberries! I can’t find them for less than $4 here. They are one of my favorite fruits…they melt in your mouth.
Have a great week!
I am always super excited to go out in a new outfit too! I wake up thinking about it! haha! I need onDemand now!
Yea, Raspberries have not been cheap at all. It’s like a treat when I purchase them
ahh .. everyday is a cereal day for me! at least until the weather cools down :p looks yummy!
looks like you guys had a good weekend! I agree about the raspberries – so good, but they have not been cheap here, either.
Agreed, fresh fruits up here really went up in price about a month ago, so I really haven’t been buying!
I love fresh fruit enough to pay up; I’ll skimp elsewhere! My body deserves delicious fuel!
Mmmm, I love raspberries, too! I am definitely willing to pay a pretty penny for them, which makes my mouth happy, but not so much my wallet!
Love love love wearing new clothes. And a whole new outfit is the best!
That bowl of cereal looks like the perfect ratio of cereal to yogurt to fruit
YUM!
isn’t it sad that 2/$5 is the cheapest I’ve ever found raspberries in California? They are pricey!
I like raspberries, but I much prefer blueberries. I probably don’t wait til the raspberries are ripe cause mine are always tart. I think for a little piece of heaven though, 2/$5 isn’t so bad. I make mine last a whole week!
Raspberries are dangerous, especially because I can eat the whole small carton in one sitting, talk about $$. Whenever I see 2/$5, I grab like 4, haha.
