What Maddie was up to while Mommy was away

by Meghann on August 18, 2009

I woke up this morning feeling just as unmotivated as I was when I went to bed last night. What is wrong with me?

With all the running and walking this past weekend, my legs are feeling a bit stiff. That crossed with zero motivation to get dressed and head out the door led to Jillian Michael’s No More Trouble Zones for my morning work out.

I was dragging in the beginning, but then my body kicked in gear and I finally found the motivation I had been looking for. After the DVD I felt refreshed and renewed. It’s amazing how a sweaty workout can do that to a person. 🙂

A great breakfast is also a great motivator.

This was the last of my [me] & goji custom cereal mix of Meghann’s Running Mix. Out of all the custom products I sampled I have to state that [me] & goji was my favorite. Not only do they have an awesome company philosophy, but their product was the tastiest. This will be a cereal that is truly missed.

I miss Maddie!

I have not had the chance to collect her from my parent’s house since I’ve been back. Apparently Maddie has an exciting weekend of her own. My parents took her with them to visit my twin bro down in Miami.

All weekend they were keeping me up to date with pictures texts of what Maddie was up to.

She explored the Everglades.

Walked along South Beach.

And was a perfect angel on each 4 hour car ride.

I miss that face!

As I was getting dressed this morning my Dad called to inform me I have a funny dog. I guess Maddie tends to disappear when it’s time for my parent’s to go to work as she refuses to go in her crate.

This morning my Dad hunted for her around the house and discovered her on my brother’s bed curled up next to Scooby. They’re BFFs now.

I’m heading out after work to pick her up and I can not wait!!

You have the cutest puppy 🙂 I think it’s sweet how she was found hiding with Scooby – she must have been thinking camouflage 😉

I am seriously unmotivated these last two days as well. I though, did not do a DVD this morning. I just stayed in bed a little longer.

You do have a funny dog 😉 I don’t blame her – I’d go curl up with Scooby too! 🙂 As soon as she’s back – Maddie pictures please 🙂

Maddie is so precious!! Jack Russel’s are the most independent yet loving breeds! I”m glad she has a good home!!

I recently went on vaca for a few days and didn’t see my dog for 3 days and I could hardly contain myself. I called everyday to check up on him!!

13 Traci August 18, 2009 at 9:54 am

Aww who wouldn’t miss that face! She is a doll. Listen to your body and give it a day or two of rest. You are coming off a very busy/stressful/draining weekend and you just need some time to rejuvinate! Have a great day and have fun reuniting with Maddie!

14 Erica August 18, 2009 at 9:55 am

Breakfast looks good!!!! Maddie is so cute, my pup Oscar does the same thing, he hides under our bed when we are leaving for work, just far enough back that it is hard to get him. They learn fast, huh?
