I had the juciest oddly shaped Pear this afternoon.

Funky, right?
I love how fruit and vegetables can come in all different shape and sizes. That’s how you know its actually from nature and not manufactured in a factory. No two pears are identical just like no two people or no two snowflakes are ever the same.
I also believe no two pizzas I make are ever the same.

How awesome does that look? This pizza was the epitome of freshness thanks to the topping fresh herbs and the base of Lavash bread I found at the Health Store yesterday.

This was another local find. Baked and packaged in good ole Tampa.
I topped the lavash bread with marinara sauce, spinach, asparagus, cherry tomatoes, mushrooms, parmesan cheese & raw walnuts.

I baked it at 425 for 5 minutes then added fresh basil, parsley and parmesan while it cooled.

The lavash bread worked perfect as a pizza crust substitute. The whole meal was superb.
When I got home this afternoon I had a package waiting for me. I love packages!

My favorite baker, Amanda, heard my pleas for more goodies and promptly refilled my stash.

Amanda is in the middle of starting up her own baking business. I promise when I get more details I will share them straight away! This is my 4th shipment of her fabulous blondies and I have to admit I have been very spoiled. If you need a testimonial on just how good these are, I’m it!

Thank you again Amanda. As always please let me know if these is anything I can do to return the favor. I owe you BIG time!
Dessert involved half of a Chocolate Brownie.

OH…MY…. GOD!!! Amanda you have out done yourself on this one! It’s like eating fudge! So rich, so sinful and oh so good! Yum, Yum, Yum!!
You think that’s enough exclamation points?!?!?
I just wish I could make brownies as good as these. Baking is just not part of my skills.
I have challenged myself to try and bake something this week for the hell of it. Mica tweeted a fabulous idea the other week that I am going to test out. You will just have to wait until Wednesday to see what that is.
