It’s officially less then two weeks until my marathon!! I am beyond excited and feel that now I have the majority of my major work projects behind me for now that it should be pretty easy sailing until I hop on the plane to San Diego!
This morning I jumped out of bed with excitement, more then ready to take on the 6 mile run I had planned for this morning. It felt great to put on my running shoes and head outside to run, rather to the downstairs treadmill.
The first 5 miles I kept a nice steady pace and felt like I could keep going forever. However, after mile 5 I think all of the indulging I did this past weekend caught up with me and I got the worst cramp in my side that weighed me down. The last mile I had to do run/ walk intervals to keep me from too much pain.
Let’s hope the cramping issue was just a blip in today’s run and is not a permanent fixture.
After the run I was craving a glorious, glorious bowl of cereal.

- 1/3 cup Meg’s Crunchy Mix
- 1/3 cup Kashi Go Lean
- 2/3 cup Kashi H2H
- Vanilla Fat Free Yogurt
- 1/2 Red Pear
So fresh and sooo good! Just what my body needed this morning.
