Speedwork was on my training schedule for this morning. I had no urge what so ever to hop on a treadmill this morning and experience hamster in a ball syndrome so instead I went with an old stand by and busted out my Tennis Court Boot Camp Routine.
My Team in Training Coach had preached one night how suicides (which are essentially short sprints) are great for building up speed, luckily those are the basis for the tennis court boot camp I created. I did my normal 20 minute work out and then repeated this routine 5 times. I ended with some ‘cool down’ alternating lunches across the court and returned to my apartment feeling sweaty and strong.
Yesterday afternoon I had a special delivery from the very generous people over at Turtle Mountain.
Those two large boxes were quite a challenge to get from my office, to my car and into my apartment. I was trying to get Abbie to stand by them to get a scaled picture of size, but she has developed this deathly fear about boxes and would not go within a 10 ft radius of them. lol
With a very sharp knife and tons of frustration on exactly how much tape was used to seal them, I manage to each box open and discover a plethora of goodies in side.
The first box contained some Coconut Milk Yogurts and Coconut Milk.
We all know I am not a fan of Milk (Yuck!) but I have to be honest when I say I have never tried an ‘alternative’ milk source before. I will take the plunge with these and conduct a taste test in the near future to see how they stack up.
The contents of the second box brought a little tear to my eyes.
ICE CREAM!!! Lots and lots of Ice Cream!!
I think I literally have a years supply of Ice Cream in here. I had to cram my freezer full just to get it all in there.
I look forward to test tasting each and every one of these and be sure to give a very thorough review on all of them. Man, sometimes my job can be so tough.
So of course I wanted to start the reviewing process right away and broke into one of the ice Cream Bars Yogurts to mix with cereal this morning.
Each So Delicious made with Coconut Milk Yogurt is…
Upon first taste the Vanilla flavor reminded me of icing. It was a thin consistency, but very sweet. I wanted to slather it on top of a giant brownie and enjoy. Mmmm… I think I will try that it the next one.
I was not sure how much of the coconut flavoring the expect. It was there, but very faint, almost like a background flavor. The overall flavor was amazing and enhanced the flavors of my cereal perfectly. Really my only complaint with this yogurt was the amount of sugar in the single serving container – 19g – yikes!
With the 1/2 container of Vanilla So Delicious with Coconut Milk Yogurt I had 1/2 cup Missy’s Mix #1, 1/2 cup Kashi Strawberry Fields, 1/4 cup Chocolate is for Lovers Granola, Grapes, and Strawberries.
The mix was wonderful and I can not wait to sample the rest of the Turtle Mountain products… especially all the Ice Cream waiting patiently for me in the fridge!

You so got the hook-up!
Wow. That is a LOT of ice cream!
Look at all those goodies! Yum
Looks like a really delicious breakfast!
that IS a ton of ice cream! I would have to buy a new freezer to fit them all
Lucky!
Enjoy all your ice cream!
Holy Ice Cream! I think I’d have to give some of it away or I’d lose all my composure and eat too much!
ohh very nice. I have heard good things about their products and am very interested in the cocounut milk
Oh.Wow. What an awesome delivery!!!! Ice cream is JUST the best!
dayam girl, you got the hook up. your freezer is like a diabetic’s nightmare (or a foodies dream) -haha. enjoy! ive never tried coconut milk products, are they vegan?
wow that will definitely keep you in stock for the warm summer months!
That’s awesome! I love the coconut mini ice cream sandwiches. Mmmmmm. My only problem with the coconut milk products is that all the fat is saturated. I got the unsweet coconut milk and it’s only 50 calories per cup but has 5g saturated fat! That just seems like a lot to me.
I hate when there’s so much sugar in yogurt! Booo
Fun package though! You’ll be set for a while now!!
YUM!!! Enjoy your coconutty year!
good thing you have such good self control! It would not be a good thing to have so much wonderful food in my house
OMG. You are one lucky girl with all that ice cream in the freezer!
It would be quite dangerous if there were that much ice cream in my house. I hope your self control is better than mine
i am so jealous right now…
i love coconut anything, yum.
Awww, my nephew who is allergic to everythingunderthesun eats that ice cream! He loves it. I’ve always been scared to try it because ‘his food’ is a little nast sometimes.
Looks like maybe I should try it after all?
SOOOO jealous! I love Turtle Mountain products, never seen the yogurt though!
Time for me to try out that yogurt!
oh my gosh – how nice of them! i’ve only seen the yogurts and never the frozen desserts but i haven’t tried them yet; i’m a little hesitant to as i’ve seen both positive and negative reviews. i’ll wait for your reviews!
You will love the ice cream! So gooood! I wish I could say it lasted me a year! Maybe more like 1 month! Haha oh well!
WOw! so much ice cream!!
I would love that!
Coconut!!! OMG, I’m so jealous. My newest obsession is Coconut yogurt. I’ve only found one brand around here (Liberte) but am hoping more will present itself.
I wish I knew how you girls scored all of that loot.
That is my favorite ice cream! It is so good! I’ve tried the yogurt before too and it has a really good flavor but its just too thin for me, I wish they would make coconut milk greek yogurt!
You poor thing – NOT!
Enjoy your goodies!
LUCKY GIRL!!! I’m so jealous!
Ooo I really want that Vanilla yogurt, it’s my favorite =)
Whoa, that’s probably the best package to get!
hehe.
