I have been tracking Bobbi all morning as she runs the Boston Marathon. It’s so exciting to see her time pop up, I feel like I am right there rooting her on!
And she is doing crazy good out there! Check out her stats!
Does anyone know if they have the same concept for the San Diego Marathon?!?!
My day has been filled with lots of prep work and lots of excitement. The whole office is buzzing about the upcoming conference, ready for a break from the day-to-day routine.
This morning I had an Orange and handful of Awesome Almonds as my mid-morning snack.
I love ho refreshing oranges are. I guess that’s why they make the best post-race snack.
I ate lunch at my desk today so I could leave a little earlier today and get some much needed packing done. Since lunch was had at my desk it was relatively easy and simple to throw together this morning.
I pulled the last serving of Red Lentil Peanut Butter Soup from my freezer. Love this stuff!
Derek had bought a Pretzel on his way to Orlando this weekend and gave me half. I enjoyed the toasted half with the soup.
Nothing is better then a Greenwise Pretzel dipped in soup.
Can you tell I am a little obsessed with these things? Thank god they don’t sell these near me I would buy one from every week, for now Derek is sole Pretzel supplier and I think he likes that job.
I had a package of goodies delivered to my desk today while I was eating lunch and when I discovered cookies inside I knew I had to dig right in.
The Country Choice Organic Vanilla Wafers have 0 grams of Trans Fat and No Hydronated Oils. The ingredient list is short and simple, perfect for an afternoon snack or all natural dessert.
I had not had Vanilla Wafers in years! I had a small handful and enjoyed how light and crispy they were. The perfect light after lunch cookie.
Now I’m off to root Bobbi on the the finish. Not only is she running 26.2 miles today but it’s her Birthday!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY BOBBI!! What an awesome birthday present!

Mmm that pretzel looks yummy! They most likely have something similar for the San Diego Marathon, so don’t worry we’ll all be tracking you.

The San Diego RnR marathon has a similar tracking system. I ran it last year and my family had fun watching my progress!
I *hope* to run it again this year, but I recently injured my quad.

FABULOUS progress for Bobbi!!
yep San Diego has a tracking thing too! when i ran it a few years ago, my friends and family had the updates texted to their cell phones so they knew when to switch spots on the course to be able to see me run by!

Those pretzels look INCREDIBLE!! Vanilla wafers remind me of being a kid
mmmmmmm pretzels and soup! Those cookies like they would be awesome in dessert recipes, like nilla wafter crusts and mini tarts and such!
That pretzel looks amazing! If I could get one like that, I would probably have multiple pretzels a week.
Good luck with the packing & the trip!
