Buitoni Riserva Pasta

It’s 7:30 pm on a Friday night which means, its officially the weekend! Yay!!!

It has been a long week, so I am glad to be able to sit back, relax and watch an idiotic movie (Anyone seen Role Models? ) I was also able to run a couple of much needed errands and pick up my apartment. My ‘deep clean‘ was postponed until another time when I don’t feel like sitting on the couch and being lazy. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I continued my theme of new eats today and around 4:00 snacked on another mini-chip bag of my FoodShouldTasteGood samples.

Again I love the little saying on the bottom of the bag. Just as chips could also ‘be dessert’ yesterday they can be a cracker today. ๐Ÿ™‚

I was expecting an actual sweet potato chip, but was a little sad to discover it was a tortilla chip with sweet potato flavorings. I really could not taste the sweet potato, but it was still a good chip and a good snack.

Thanks to FoodBuzz’s Tastemaker Program I didn’t even have to worry about dinner because it was waiting for me on my doorstep. ๐Ÿ™‚

These little Wild Mushroom Agnolotti Ravioli beauties are part of the new Riserva pasta line by Buitoni. THey are filled with 100% natural ingredients including Parmesean Cheese, Portabello and Crimini Mushrooms. Yum!

The package came with two servings and I happily enjoyed one for dinner.

I layered the Wild Mushroom Agnolotti Ravioli atop some Steamed Broccoli and Fire Roasted Tomato Pasta Sauce.

The pasta was actually really, really good You could really taste the strong cheese flavors mixed with the mushrooms. The pasta was so flavorful and I tried to include a little bite with each piece of broccoli. Yum, Yum, Yum! I will have to look out for this on my next trip to Publix.

Derek brought me a special treat all the way from Tampa for dessert.

I had a mini Cannolli and Mini Raspberry Chocolate Tart from the Greenwise Bakery. They were wonderful and I am very happy to have two more mini tarts waiting for me in the fridge for future consumption. ๐Ÿ™‚

I think I am only going to last a couple of more hours before I have to call it a night. I have an early run planned tomorrow and need all the rest I can get to tackle those thirteen miles.

Chickpea Taco Salad
