It’s almost 10 o’clock on a Friday night and I am happily sitting in front of my TV in my PJS spending some quality time with my Sister and could not be happier.
I was heading straight to meet my sister for our bike ride after work this afternoon and knew I needed some extra fuel for the ride so I had a Mixed Nut Bumble Bar before heading out.

As planned I met my Sis at Wekiva Trail for our first bike ride together.

We’re both participating in our first Sprint Triathalon next week and while I’ve been concentrating on running lately, Kelly has taken her biking and swimming to a whole new level. She purchased a Road Bike around the same time that I bought Blue and has been riding like crazy. In fact she called me too slow on the trail!
We biked 14 miles in just over an hour while enjoying each other’s company.
After the bike ride I was starving and knew dinner was still a couple of hours off so I had an Apple to tide me over.

I was very thankful I had ate the apple when we showed up at Seasons 52 only to learn there would be a 55 minute wait for a table for 2. I don’t think so! We were told the Patio Tables and seats at the bar had full menu service so we stuck it out and managed to snag a table on the patio about 15 minutes after arriving.
Upon seating I ordered my favorite wine on the menu.. the Santa Christina.

I have had this wine every time I have been to Seasons 52 and really enjoy it. Its a nice dry red with a bit of spice to it.
For a starter we split the Ripe Plum Tomato Flat Bread.

I had two crispy slices.

Their Flat Bread is A-MA-ZING!
For my main entree I ordered the Winter Market Vegetable Plate: rustic roasted vegetables, grilled tofu and cracked wheat tabbouleh.

Every time I go to Seasons 52 I am always tempted order the Winter Market Vegetable plate, but each time I am distracted by another amazing looking dish. This time I was determined to have no distractions and didn’t even glance at the rest of the menu.
All I can say is I knew I should have ordered this before, the dish was incredible, full of wonderful flavored vegetables, tofu and tobbouleh. If you read this blog you know how much I love veggies and I felt this plate gave me all the veggies I could have ever asked for.
My Sister ordered the same plate and was just as much in love with it as I was.

And of course you can not got to Seasons 52 and not get dessert!

I was only going to get one but when my Sis went for a second one I knew I had to get a second one too.
I ended up with the Strawberry Shortcake and Mocha something or other.

They were perfect, as always.
Now I am stuffed and happily content in front of the TV watching Aladdin with my sister. Tomorrow we are going for an early morning run and then our first Lake Swim.. I can’t wait!

I am so jealous every time you FL bloggers talk about this restaurant! That veggie plate looks fabulous, I never end up ordering veggie plates because I get distracted, but they can be such a great choice.

Those little dessert shots are just way too cute. And that flatbread looks gigantic – is it just the camera angle?

enjoy your weekend with your sister!
I need to go this restaurant – i’ve seen it so much on blogs that I already know what I want!
wow…ever since I read about Seasons 52 I have always wanted to go there, sadly up in New England it doesn’t exist. Just wanted to say I think your story and blog are pretty awesome. Luckily we also don’t have chick-fil-a up here, although I’ve never been such a fan of fried chicken(weird I know). Have a fun swim, I’m super jealous of your activity(I’m cooped up in bed recovering from ACL surgery), but at least it gives me time to blog!-Lisa D.
