OMG, I am exhausted! It has been another long, fun filled day of sking that has left me pooped! It will be an early bed time for me tonight.
This morning I was awake again before 6:30! But I think it is fair to let you know I was also in bed around 8:00, I think my body is still set on Florida time.
My Dad made pancakes for breakfast this morning and I did a Meghann twist to them and topped the silver dollar pancakes with some Fat Free Vanilla Yogurt, Blueberries, Blackberries and Strawberries.

It was so good, I had to go back for more.

This morning we hit the windy slopes of Breckenridge for round two. This time my cousin Jenny and her husband, Andy, both joined us from Colorado Springs.

It was another blistery cold day, but once we got going on the hills it was great.

We stopped midmorning and I snacked on a Iced Gingerbread Clif Bar.

When we stopped for lunch, my Dad made Hot Dogs for the gang, while I went my own direction.

I had a Baked Sweet Potato topped with Black Beans, Cheddar Cheese, & Onions. I also had the last of the roasted Acorn Squash on the side. This lunch was incredible and in my opinion much more filling and satisfying then a hot dog would have been.
I decided to have a couple of Heather Ricotta Chocolate Chip Cookies for dessert.

We spent the rest of the afternoon ripping up the hills, only stopping for a cup of hot tea once.

When we decided to come back in I had a cup of Peanut Butter Puffins with the rest of the Vanilla Non-Fat Yogurt from breakfast.

This was the Vanilla Chai Rachel Yogurt and I have to say I was not that big of a fan. I’m not sure if it was the altitude, but it was very soupy and liquidy. I don’t think I will be buying this brand again.
Since my Cousin and her husband were only in town for the night, we decided to go for a night out on the town with them.
My Parents and I all dressed up ready to walk around town.

I wore my under armor long johns under my pants…. it made for a very interesting tight fit, but atleast it kept my legs warm
We ended up at a cute little restaurant called The MotherLoaded Tavern on Main Street. I like their slogan “You Momma’s food with a healthy twist.”

I started out with a local microbrew called Avalanche.

It was a pretty good beer.
The table ready to chow down.

I started with a Side House Salad with Chipotle Caesar Dressing on the side.

Apparently this place is famous for their dressing and I have to say it was good, but wow was it spicy!
For the main meal I ordered a bowl of the Vegetable Soup.

This was very good with lots of large chunks of vegetables, but again very spicy. This meal definitely warmed me up!
On the way back it started snowing!

After dinner we warmed up in the hot tub and then I cooled down with a shot glass size serving of the Peanut Butter Cup Ice Cream.

My Twin Bro is coming in late tonight and tomorrow I have a meet up with some local readers (!) and of course there will be more sking in my forecast!
Alright, I’m ready to call it a night. Sweet dreams blog world!
