Another Cold One

by Meghann on January 21, 2009

I told myself I was not going to complain about the weather, but its cooolllllddddd outside!

cold

Thankfully its going to be another warm and beautiful weekend, but the fact that it’s 30 degrees out right now is a little unsettling.

I am of course a wimp and did not even have the heart to make the trip to my apartment gym for the treadmill, so instead I did a little cross training with Billy Blank’s Lower Body Boot Camp DVD I received through Netflix the other day.

The work out was ok. Not one of my favorites of his, but it did do the job of warming me up this morning.

Breakfast this morning was a little out of the norm for me.

Yes, that’s a biscuit covered in my Dad’s famous sausage gravy. :)

When my parent’s came up on Sunday my Dad surprised me with some of his left overs he had made for breakfast this morning. I am not one to deny any of my Dad’s homemade food (which is why I’m thankful I don’t live at home any more, I would weigh 200 lbs!), so I accepted the food graciously and saved it for a special morning.

I thought the freezing temps outside warranted a hot breakfast so I headed up the left overs and had a bowl on the side to round the meal out.

Strawberries, Blackberries & Grapes.. Oh My!

When I arrived at the office this morning I could not resist a cup of Hot Chocolate a co –worker was offering.

Nothing beats the cold weather chill then a delish Hot Chocolate.

Tonight’s low is 27! Time to break out the flannel pjs! :)

I think you shoudl task your dad with making a healthy version of that – I’d love to see what he comes up with! :)
