Thank you for all of your kind words and encouragement regarding my new journey! I am now 100% sure that I can do this with all of your support. The next few months are going to be quite an adventure! I can’t wait.
Now, back to the food.
Mid morning I snacked on a Reduced Fat Cheese Stick.

Last week I really enjoyed the Black Bean/ Apple Combo in my salad, I decided to explore that combo further today.
I heated up 3/4 cup of Black Beans, 1/2 of an Apple and some Goat Cheese then wrapped it in a Spinach Flat Out Wrap.

It was a GREAT combination and I was really happy with the way it came out. I highly suggest this combo.

On the side I had a small Pickle and some Broccoli. It was a great filling lunch.
For dinner I decided to try the Roasted Winter Squash & Apple Soup that was in the Whole Foods newsletter last month. I seasoned it with Curry Powder and added come Ham for protein.

This recipe was incredibly easy and the results were incredibly delicious! It was also my third meal of the day containing an apple! I guess it was an apple kind of day,
With the soup I enjoyed a slice of the Rosemary Olive Oil Focaccia I picked up at the Farmers Market yesterday.

I have big plans involving this bread in sandwich form tomorrow. Yum!
Dessert I had 1/3 of this Dark Chocolate Bar.

More yum, yum, yum.
Thanks again for all of your support today. Trust me once I get everything for fundraising set up I will be contacted all of you who volunteered concerning the Blogging Bake Sale, I can already tell its going to be a big success. If you have any more fund raising ideas let me know!!!!

Soup looks good! Especially with the farmer’s market bread
As for other fundraising ideas…hmmm. Most of mine are used for large groups doing fundraising. But one thing you could do is a few bottle drives with your friends/family/co-workers.
mmm, i love thick pureed soups! i need to try that apple and black bean combo …
That wrap does look pretty darn good!
I love the pretty plate!
All your food looks great! I need to find those spinach flat outs.
I didn’t get to comment on your last post but congrats on making such a big decision! I’m not a baker but I will help in any other way lol.
Mmm…you know how I love your wrap combinations! Haha. I’ll have to try that one some time! Your soup looks amazing too! Can’t wait to hear more about your fundraising ideas!

I really want that chocolate bar, too.
Psh! Meghann, you’re so dedicated and positive-you can do anything you put your mind to. I may have to steal your wrap ingredients.

Fantastic eats, the wrap looks amazing!
And mmm, chocolate!
Love the soup, it’s so colorful!
great looking wrap…i will definitely have to try that soon!
Friends of mine that have done the Breast Cancer 3 Day walk said that you get ALOT more $$ during bake sales if you don’t price items but put a “donation” jar. THey said people will easily drop more money this way – just a thought!
yay i’m glad we helped you!!! you can totally do this i have 100% faith in you! love your eats today – the soup and bread combo is a winter staple for me too
I bet your apple/black bean combo is really good. I love salty/sweet combos. I’m jealous of your raw broccoli eating abilities. I can eat pounds of steamed broccoli, but I cannot eat it raw! Blech.
That looks amazing- at first I did a double-take when I saw your title of the day
Maybe you can try a wine tasting party at your house and accept donations for the cause? I’m not sure if anyone mentioned that before.
I love that your experimentation always turns out well. You must have a knack for finding the right combos. By contrast, mine would go something like this:
“Today, I tried mixing pizza sauce and chocolate together with feta cheese and garlic. Whoa, it was terrible!”
Very creative, colorful and delicious looking eats!
I’m so excited for your new adventure!!!
you are such an inspiration meghann – i am totally supporting you through this!! you will rock it
