Sleepover!

That’s right Caitlin and I are having an old fashion girlie sleepover. We have movies, wine, pizza and all things girlie. We’re going to do each other’s nail, gossip about boys and have I mentioned the wine yet? Sometimes we just need those girlie nights to help us rewind.

Luckily work today was a piece of cake today thanks to the Holiday Luncheon party.

There was definitely more dishes brought in for dessert rather then lunch, but I still think I walked away with a decent lunch. I only wish I would have made a healthier main course element rather then a dessert.

My plate included: Cranberry Sauce, Turkey, Ham, Green Bean Casserole, Salad, Stuffing, Mashed Potatoes, Gravy, & a Dinner Roll. I put just the right amount of food on the pate, as I was not completely stuffed afterwards.

I could not resist all of the amazing homemade desserts! I tried a little bit from each of the one that looked great and was not disappointed. I also had one of my eggnog peppermint cookie I made last night.

I was so happy to leave work early and spent all of the extra time at home reading the 4th Twilight Book. I went out before Caitlin came over and grabbed a small pizza and greek salad from my favorite pizza place down the street.

I always think its funny when I order pizza because I have so many request. I asked for this one to have pineapple instead of green pepper on it with no olive oil and light on the cheese. It may seem annoying but ll the extra requests are always worth it to have the ultimate pizza!

  

I had two  pieces of the pizza and half of the small greek salad. It was heaven.

With the pizza we opened a wonderful bottle of wine that Caitlin brought over.

I may have had two or three glasses of the wine pirctured above.

The first bottle of wine disappeared much to quickly so we had to make a quick run for a second.

The extra wine also led to some wonderful Ginger Strips. Yum!

And while drinking and watching Elf, Caitlin and I painted out toes….

and did Face Masks.

So far a wonderful girlie night that is still in progress. I hope everyone had a wonderful Friday night as a launch for an exciting weekend!
