Everyone should be happy to know Abbie is safe and sound in my apartment. I guess her love for chewing pens had finally got the best of her. During one of her recent pen chewings a larger then normal piece made its way into her system causing her to ‘block up.’ The vet kept her overnight to make sure the piece made its way out of her system without causing further damage. Thankfully, she seems back to her normal self this morning. Her insides are a little tender so I just have to feed her soft food and some antibiotics for the rest of the week and she should be fully recovered. I am soooo glad to have her back!!! Thanks once again for all your kind words as I went through my puppy crisis. You guys are the best.

Right before I left to get Abbie I snacked on some Bunny Grahams and a Raspberry Fruit Leather.
After I went to the vet, dropped Abbie off at home, and caught up on some work e-mails I was more then ready for lunch. I knew I would not have time to eat at home so when I dropped Abbie off I did a Grab and Go meal from my freezer.
In the office kitchen I heated up a bowl of Oatmeal Chili
And toasted a Honey Wheat English Muffin
It’s funny when I was eating the chili I could not remember if I had put any meat in it or not. I thought I saw it in the Chili, but could have sworn it was vegetarian. I had to look up the recipe and check to see all that was in it. Blogging comes in handy during those moments of forgetfulness. And yes, there was ground chicken in the chili. J
I am super nervous for this afternoon. I am leading my very first meeting today! Since I started my job I have had this huge project of updating our contact database. Today, I will start training the entire company on what procedures and guidelines I have put in place to make my project a company wide effort. I have a training session scheduled each day for the rest of the week and then another one next week. I know sometimes my co-workers can be a little ruthless, but I am hoping they will take pity on me if I totally mess up. I’m off to practice what I am going to say and present. Wish me luck!
