Zack and Miri Make a Porno

by Meghann on November 8, 2008

If you have not seen Zack and Miri Make a Porno yet and are in a mood to laugh hysterically then I would highly suggest it! My cheeks are actually hurting right now because the movie was so funny! Seth Rogan has definitely redeemed himself in my book as one of the most hilarious actors of all time!

Just a warning though, the movie is a bit raunchy (after all it is about making a porno). So, if you are sensitive to rude, obseen jokes then I would stay. Otherwise, enjoy. ๐Ÿ™‚

Funny story. While I was buying the tickets to the movie the girl asked for my ID, which with out even thinking about it I flashed to her. She looked at it, her eyes got big and she literally said ‘whoa.’ I guess she did not realize how old I actually was. She then proceeds to tell me I am older then her brother and her husband, but look way younger. Ummm… thanks… should I take that as a compliment or an insult? I have never seen someone get so bugged eye looking at my ID before, pretty scary.

Before I left for the movie I munched on this lovely apple.

After the movie my friend and I decided to hit up the Sushi place right next door. It had a nice crowd outside and looked good.

I started with the Miso Soup.

CIMG3273

The two of us decided to split 3 rolls and I ate about half of what is seen here.

CIMG3278

We ordered the TGIF Roll (tuna, avocado, crab & grouper tempura), Spicy Octopus Roll, & Yellow Fin Tuna Roll.  I had not had sushi in forever and this was so good. The TGIF was AMAZING, it had all of my favorites. ๐Ÿ™‚

Earlier today I received a couple of fun packages in the mail.

Thanks to Megan at Megan’s Munchies for hooking me up with the JamFrakas bars and to Jen at The Winking Road for hosting the contest for the Oikos goodies!

I was very excited to try the Jamafrakes, but unfortunately Abbie was too.

I left the bars on the coffee table and came home to torn up wrappers all over my apartment. ๐Ÿ™ She ate all of them but the Chocolate Chip and Apple Flavors. I was most sad about losing the Peanut Butter one.  ๐Ÿ™ Now, I have a very sick puppy on my hands, she has already thrown up twice and I have feeling there is more to come.

I am off to take care of my overindulgent puppy, maybe its her way of acting out since I have been gone all day. I hope everyone else has a brighter Saturday night.

Tomorrow I will be up at the crack of dawn for my 10K, wish me luck!

Interesting film title ๐Ÿ˜‰

Take it as a “weird compliment,” I guess, haha.

Mmm, loooove apples, miso soup; and hooray for Larabar products!!

OH MY GOODNESS!!!!!! I’m praying that Abbie will be okay – take her to the vet if you can!!!

Good luck with the 10K!!!!!!

caitlin – luckily the chocolate one was the only one she didn’t eat. The ingredients on the bars are not bad, I just think she ate too much and thats whats making her sick

5 Megan November 8, 2008 at 9:52 pm

Oh my goodness! I was all excited that you got all your treats in the mail, but now I am sad because Abbie is sick. I hope she gets better soon. Enjoy what’s left of your bars. I will be glad to send you a pb one. Just drop me a note if you want one.

Oh no! Hope Abbie is okay!

I knew someone who went to the grocery store, put everything away and then proceeded to bake a cake. Hum, where is the butter I just bought? She checked her register receipt, yep, butter purchased.

It wasn’t until she walked her dog that the wrapping of the butter, um, came out! Her dog ate a pound of butter!

Hope she feels better soon!

oh and that is so funny about that girl with your ID – once my mum and i were in the supermarket and SHE got IDed for a bottle of wine. bear in mind that the age for alcohol here is 18, and she was 40-something at the time. seriously!

19 wholefoodswholeme November 9, 2008 at 3:45 am

p.s. i’ve put up my BSI entry in my latest post!

20 Nicole November 9, 2008 at 8:30 am

23 Andrea November 9, 2008 at 11:31 am

haha i love seth rogen too!!

that’s a complement that she questioned your ID. i think you look very young too – but in a good healthy way!!!

24 Lindsey November 9, 2008 at 4:16 pm

Try to take the age thing as a complement. About a month ago I was leaving a grocery store and had this bag boy ask me if I went to the local high school. At first I was really put off and was like “um no, I’ve actually graduated high school…and college..and I’m married. But thanks?” I just tried to tell myself that in a couple decades I’ll probably be LOVING for someone to think I’m a lot younger/ check my ID/ etc.

25 lauren November 10, 2008 at 10:57 am
