HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!
Today is one of my favorite holidays! I love the candy, treats, scary movies, costumes, etc… I mean who does not like to play dress up?!?!?! I think we need more holidays out there where you get to play dress up. J
A little while back Chandra did a montage of her past Halloween Costumes, so I thought it would be fun to go back through the years with mine.
Halloween ‘05
I was a Bunny!! I still remember buying this costume at the Halloween Shop in Tally. It was the cheapest costume I tried on that looked decent so I bought it! I was a Junior in college at the time and end up party hopping with my Sis (who was a freshmen) and her roomies that night.
Halloween ‘06
I was a Birthday Present! This was my all time FAVORITE, most creative costume I have ever come up! The box was a little annoying to walk around in, but I can not tell you how many guys told me I was ‘the best present ever.’ Oh how I miss drunken college boys. J Apparently I don’t haven pictures of just me in this costume so that is my lovely sister on the left. She was a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle. Cute, Right?
Halloween ‘07
This was not my favorite Halloween costume. This was when I was around my heaviest and not feeling very pretty. I was trying to be Hermione, but everyone kept referring to me as Harry Potter. I did have fun casting fake spells on people, too bad none of them worked.
So those are my Halloween costumes through the years, well at least the ones I have on my computer. What is your favorite Halloween costume of the past?!?!?!
I plan on leaving work on the earlier side today, so I have decided instead of running this morning that I would rather have a nice long run this afternoon. There’s a trailhead near my work that I have been dying to run, so I will be going straight from work to the trail to run a good 7 miles.
Running in the afternoon is always fine with me, since it allows me to sleep in a good hour and a half. Woo hoo! I felt like I had all the time in the world when I was getting ready this morning. I relaxed, made a hot cup of tea and caught up on some blogs while watching the Today Show.
Since today is Pumpkin Day (and I apparently did not get my fill of Pumpkin last night) I decided to heat up some leftover Pumpkin Pecan Waffles I made last Friday.
I treated the home made frozen waffles as I would an Eggo and put it in the toaster to heat up.
I cut up an apple and microwaved it with some cinnamon and sugar free syrup for my topping.
This morning I happily dropped all my goodies off in the office kitchen. I love to bake and then immediately disperse the goods. J Hopefully the goodies will go over well, there’s not many people here yet so it’s a wait and see game.
I hope everyone has a marvelous Halloween Day!!

i would lurrrve to do 7.0 miles today, i cant do more than that though! i’ve promised myself no more than 7.0 until after our 10k next weekend.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!! I made the same running plan for today – allowed myself to sleep in and will try to bang out a 7 miler before the drinking/partying tonight. A few too many mini candy bars have made their way into my mouth and I know I’ll feel ten times better if I run before doing it all again tonight
Have fun!!

The present costume was very cute…I love creative Halloween costumes! I just blogged about a few of my past Halloween costumes, too. It’s hard for me to pick a favorite, but the most creative would have to be my Rorschach inkblot costume.
Happy Halloween. I love all the pics!
