Every Monday I have the same debate with my self: should I go for a run or stay inside and do work out with the resources in my apartment? Does anyone else have the same Monday debate? Most mornings I always would rather run, but for some reason Monday’s I always have to motivate my morning self. Today I chose the latter and had a great at home work out.
- I started with a nice leisurely 20 minute jog around my apartment complex to warm my muscles up
- After bringing Abbie downstairs to keep me company I did 5 sets of My Parking Lot Boot Camp Routine
- Followed by 3 sets of walking lunges across the parking lot
- Lastly, I did my $1 Ab Ball Work-out with some bicycles, planks, and back work thrown in
Overall it was a great hour work out that had me drenched in sweat at the end. I LOVE running, but sometimes I just need a great morning jolt like this one to start me off for the week.
At Whole Foods on Saturday they had some gorgeous, ripe strawberries on sale that I could not wait to have in my cereal this morning.
They were perfectly red, sweet, juicy and delicious. I added 4 cut up strawberries to my morning mix of ¾ cup of Kashi U cereal and ½ cup of Kashi Go Lean.

I love strawberries in cereal, mmmm! I always usually end up with more strawberries than cereal, though.

meghann – i asked jenna what weekend would be good for us to come down. maybe we can make a roadie trip out of it and stay overnight on a saturday? we could get a hotel that lets you bring dogs and we can bring abbers. let me know!
Yum, what a good combo of cereals. Kashi U is really good, I like the little tartness it adds. Great workout too! Way to start out the week strong
I feel like crying now every time I see someone mention Whole Foods. I feel like I got teased when I went. We were in a hurry of sorts and I didn’t get to lovingly gaze at each and every item. I can’t wait till ours gets built. Woohoo! Hopefully soon.

Your cereal with strawberries looks really good… I wish that we had decent strawberries still… I guess I’m stuck with frozen

Nice workout! Hey, thanks for the stretching tips – I ran on Saturday and I felt great not only while running, but also afterwards, and I think it had to do with the stretching.
