Greetings from Whole Foods. I am currently blogging via free Whole Foods WiFI as I finish up my delicious lunch.
Of course I went a little crazy at the salad bar and don’t exactly remember everything I put on the salad I know I started off with mixed greens and spinach and from there I think there is cucumber, carrot, red onion, baked tofu, mushroom, roasted garlic, pumpkin seeds, chickpeas, corn, rasiens, pineapple, grapes, granola, tomato, olives, and naan. I think I got it all!! I just put a little bit of everything in there and used the smallest container to stop me from going too crazy.
I did top everything with Annie’s Goddess dressing. I’ve always seen it on blogs, but have never tried it. I couldn’t find any little cups to put dressing on the side so I tried drizzling a little on top and of course put way too much on, beside that it was pretty good. I don’t think I will go out and spend the extra $$ on the dressing, but its fun to have the option at the salad bar!
Since I was out so late last night, I decided to turn my alarm clock off and just sleep in this morning. I postponed the run I had planned this morning and instead I did the Kathy Smith: Tummy Trimmers DVD I got through Netflix. She worked me hard and I picked up some great tips in the DVD that I can ad to my own routine at home.
After I worked my gut, it was time for a nice leisurely breakfast. I put together some awesome Peachy Waffles
I used Hodgen Mills Whole Wheat Buttermilk Pancake mix and threw half of the peach into the batter and saved the other half for the topping. I also drizzled some sugar free syrup on top.
It was divine and a perfect Saturday Morning breakfast
I have ZERO plans today, so I have been catching up on chores and just being plain lazy. I love it! I haven’t had a free weekend since I’ve moved here so I am enjoying every minute of it! Now I’m off to shop til I drop (or until my wallet drops) and pick up some goodies for the week. Lets see if I can pick anything good up for dinner.

I really wanted that salad bar, but I couldn’t for the life of me figure out what to do… Embarrassing? Heh. And of course, my pride wouldn’t let me ask. Maybe next time I’ll drag you with me =P I’ve never been to any kind of store with a bar like that.
