A New Cereal

Thank you everyone for all of the advice you commented yesterday on whether I should do a run this morning. I decided to go ahead and give my running one last go before my big race. I really think it will be good to rest my little leggies tomorrow, but today they wanted to run. I set out on the same loop I did yesterday. Nothing too exciting but I did manage to shave a couple of minutes off of my time. J

Time: 51 mins 48 secs ( including 5 minute cool down)

Distance: 4.83 miles

After my run and a quick shower, I decided to try the new cereal I bought over the weekend. I have seen the Kashi U cereal in the stores and on blogs, but it has been a little pricey for my cereal budget. I was pleasantly surprised to see it on Sunday with the same 2 for 5 tags as the other Kashi cereals, so I happily dropped a box in my cart.

I really wanted to taste the actual flavor of the Kashi U cereal this morning so I didn’t do my usual mixing with other cereals. I had the standard 1 cup serving size along with a chopped small plum and some crushed pineapple on top.

 

I wish I would have bought more of this cereal now at the sale price, because boy was it good. Of course I don’t think I’ve found a Kashi cereal yet that I don’t enjoy. J It was crunchy, sweet and not over powering, a great cereal which I highly recommend to those who still haven’t tried it!

I’m very excited for my plans this evening. Let’s my plans involve a couple of awesome bloggers and this restaurant. J
